Below is a list of housecleaning items for you to take care of as soon as you can while we are working on your plan. When you have finished this list move on to The Life Step 1. There is a link on the bottom of the page.
After you have downloaded and created your MyFitnessPal account you will add Justin as a friend.
The most important thing you do! Log and track everything you eat or drink.
Turn on Diary Sharing for MFP. This does not allow us to see your macros but it does allow us to check for mistakes in your entries.
Turn off your Steps in MFP. We have accounted for your exercise in your macros. We want to ensure that MFP is not adding calories for your exercise.
Before we get started we need to take some initial assessment photos. Assessment photos do a few things for us along the way. For starters, they help us get to know you and your body type. Second, they are a great way for us to track body changes as we go through the process. Sometimes the scale is not the only measure we need to be able to see change. Pictures to be able to see our transformation as we go can both be motivational for us and for others. These photos will not be shared without your consent. So let us walk you through the process to create these assessment photos.
Males should take assessment photos with shorts or possibly briefs and no shirt. Females should take assessment photos with tight shorts and sports bra or tank. The more area of the body that we are able to see the better, but we don’t want any nudity in these pictures. Clothing should be the same or very similar for all subsequent pictures.
You will need to find a back drop that will have a similar background and lighting for future pictures.
You will take your pictures in a portrait (vertical) picture. You will take the picture from head to toe. You will take 4 pictures.

Once you have taken all 4 pictures. You will use an app such as PicCollage and create two square pictures with 2 pictures together in the order shown below. Once you have finished, text both pictures to your coach.
